Morozoff is bringing back its top-ranked Edam Cheese Cake for a limited three-day sale in Japan this summer. This special release celebrates the company’s 95th anniversary and honors the cake that won first place in their fan revival poll.
The Edam Cheese Cake, priced at ¥1,080 (tax included), is known for its rich, creamy flavor made with Dutch Edam cheese blended with smooth cream cheese. It will be available nationwide from August 7 to August 9, 2026.
About Morozoff’s Anniversary Revival

Morozoff, a well-known confectionery brand based in Kobe, started in 1931 as a chocolate shop. To celebrate its 95th anniversary in 2026, the company held a fan voting campaign in June to bring back beloved classic sweets. The Edam Cheese Cake received the highest votes—2,858 in total—and is now being reintroduced for a short period.

The cake was originally launched in 1989 as a mini-sized treat, loved for its authentic rich taste and subtle sweetness. Morozoff’s version combines the deep flavor of Edam cheese with a mellow cream cheese blend for a satisfying dessert experience.
