About the New Exhibits at Ghibli’s Large Warehouse
The “Panorama Box Exhibition” features 31 intricately crafted panorama boxes designed by Hayao Miyazaki himself over three years. These boxes are special viewing art pieces that create a layered, deep scene when looked into, inspired by his films from “Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind” to “How Do You Live?” Visitors can view these at child-height windows, encouraging a closer, interactive experience that reveals the depth and detail of each piece.
“Night of the Witch Valley” is Ghibli Park’s first original short animation film, running about 14 minutes. It tells the story of a new park employee who encounters mysterious happenings after hours in the Witch Valley area of the park. The film is directed by Goro Miyazaki and Akihiko Yamashita, with voices by Jesse from SixTONES and Aina the End, and music by Satoshi Takebe. It is screened in the Orion Theater inside the Large Warehouse.
