New Style of “Standing Dining”
Maguro Tonya Megumi features a “standing dining” area at the storefront. During the day, it serves tuna set meals, while in the evening, it transforms into a casual dining space offering small dishes and drinks. This standing area, which operates until 21:00, allows customers to enjoy tuna and fresh seafood in a relaxed atmosphere.
Reservable Seats and Increased Seating Capacity
The new Maguro Tonya Megumi now offers reservable seats. Small raised seats and table seats can be reserved for groups of five or more, making it perfect for families and friends. The seating capacity has increased to 85 seats, including spacious box seats and semi-private seating areas. Additionally, the counter seats provide an open space where diners can enjoy conversations with the chefs.
Previously known for long lines as “Kaisen Misakiko,” the new reservation system requires a charge but is cost-effective when considering the per-person amount for a table of up to five. This is a welcome convenience for tourists looking to save time during their visit to Yokohama.
