The Black Mapo Tofu Set Meal costs ¥890 (tax included). Black Mapo Tofu is ¥790 (tax included), while a standalone serving of Black Mapo Tofu costs ¥690 (tax included). For takeout orders, miso soup is available for an additional charge.
About the Black Mapo Tofu Menu
Matsuya creates the sauce by blending fermented black beans, sweet bean paste, and a spicy chili-pepper seasoning. Each ingredient is used to bring out a different quality: savory depth, rounded richness, numbing heat, and fragrant spice. The thick sauce coats the tofu and pairs naturally with steamed white rice.
