JP Building Management introduces a special event at KITTE Osaka showcasing “Local Breads” loved throughout Japan. From September 2 to 30, 2026, visitors can explore a diverse lineup of regional breads selected by writer and ambassador Minori Kai.
This unique gathering features weekly rotating selections of breads from 12 bakeries across the country, making it a rare chance to taste varieties rarely found in Osaka. The event is held in a spacious corridor on the 2nd floor of KITTE Osaka, with limited quantities available each day.
On opening day, September 2, Minori Kai will make two appearances as honorary shop manager. The event includes four main sale days, each highlighting three bakeries offering a total of 53 types of local breads. Visitors can also find recommended breads and complementary products at various shops throughout KITTE Osaka during the month-long event.

Local Breads are breads deeply rooted in their regions, often created by bakeries established in the 1940s and 1950s. This event celebrates these long-loved specialties, curated by Minori Kai, who coined the term and continues to promote Japan’s rich bread culture.
