The “Chagori Project,” a beloved summer tradition in Shizuoka, is back starting July 1, 2026. Organized by the Suruga Promotion and Tourism Bureau, this event showcases a variety of unique shaved ice desserts made with Shizuoka tea, available at 65 participating locations throughout the prefecture.
This year, the project introduces a fresh logo and revamped visuals to better communicate the appeal of Shizuoka tea. The event also features a special pamphlet, “Chagori Booklet,” available at participating stores and tourist information centers, making it easier for visitors to explore the offerings.
