Wasyoku Sato is a Japanese family restaurant brand known for affordable set meals, seasonal dishes and all-you-can-eat dining. Its existing buffet-style offerings include shabu-shabu, sukiyaki and Sato-style yakiniku, with hot pot ingredients, sushi and other dishes available during the 120-minute service.

The new Hokkaido selection adds a seafood-focused layer to those courses. Diners can start with sashimi and sushi, move on to grilled or hot pot dishes, and finish with one of the small rice bowls, miso ginger ramen or Hokkaido ice brûlée. The wide menu makes the course suitable for groups with different appetites.

A television commercial for the Hokkaido course is scheduled to begin airing on October 16. Ingredient origins may vary for some dishes, and salmon roe is landed mainly in the Okhotsk Sea and Bering Sea before being processed in Japan.
