Freshness Burger, a popular burger chain in Japan, is introducing two new limited-time burgers that embrace the essence of Japanese flavors. These burgers will be available from June 10 to July 7, 2026, across Freshness Burger locations nationwide, excluding stadium and zoo outlets.
Visitors to Japan during this period can indulge in these unique burgers that highlight traditional Japanese spices and ingredients. The rainy season, known as tsuyu, is the perfect time to enjoy these comforting and flavorful creations that promise to brighten up any gloomy day.
About the New Burgers
The two new offerings include the “Yuzu Kosho Fragrant Teriyaki Vegetable Burger” and the “Raw Shichimi Fragrant Lotus Root and Pumpkin Black Vinegar Burger.” Both burgers are crafted to provide a rich and aromatic experience, combining seasonal vegetables with distinctive Japanese spices.

The “Yuzu Kosho Fragrant Teriyaki Vegetable Burger” features eggplant lightly fried in-store, topped with aromatic vegetables like green onions, red radish sprouts, and sliced ginger. The patty is coated in a sweet and savory teriyaki sauce with a hint of soy sauce koji, and the addition of yuzu kosho mayo adds a refreshing spicy kick.
The “Raw Shichimi Fragrant Lotus Root and Pumpkin Black Vinegar Burger” offers a delightful contrast of textures with crunchy lotus root and sweet pumpkin. These are complemented by a black vinegar sauce that balances sweetness and acidity. The burger is further enhanced with a spicy raw shichimi mayo, featuring Shinshu miso, green chili peppers, yuzu, and sansho pepper, providing a rich and flavorful taste.
