Only a limited run of collaboration beers celebrating the 40th anniversary of Abunai Deka is available from Yokohama Bay Brewing and Yokohama Beer in Yokohama.
The first two beers go on sale simultaneously on October 3, 2026, with additional releases from nine Yokohama breweries planned through May 2027. Sales will be limited to participating stores and liquor retailers in Yokohama.
Yokohama Bay Brewing will offer Abunai Deka Pilsner, a 350ml canned German pilsner with an undecided price. Yokohama Beer will sell its English Dark Mild collaboration beer in a 330ml bottle for ¥700 (before tax), through its UMAYA restaurant and other selected locations.
About the Abunai Deka Collaboration Beers
The project brings together 11 craft breweries from the city associated with the television and film series. The first release pairs Yokohama Bay Brewing with the 1986 television series and Yokohama Beer with the 1987 theatrical film, giving each beer a different connection to the franchise.
Highlights
- Abunai Deka Pilsner from Yokohama Bay Brewing uses German hops and has a crisp bitterness, 5.0% alcohol, and a 350ml can. The price has not yet been announced.
- Yokohama Beer’s English Dark Mild is a lower-alcohol 3.5% beer with gentle roasted notes and flavors reminiscent of dried fruit and caramel. It is ¥700 (before tax) for a 330ml bottle.
- The Yokohama Bay Brewing beer will be available at its Kannai flagship, Totsuka store, Yokohama Front store, Totsuka brewery, Yokohama Gin Distillery, online shop, and selected retailers.
- The Yokohama Beer product is sold only as part of an online set, so its online price differs from the ¥700 (before tax) store price.
- Both products are also planned for selected locations including Red Brick Depot, Yokohama Burg 13, T-Joy Yokohama, and a Seven-Eleven store at Hammerhead.
