The nationwide local ice cream event “Aipaku Premium” will be held from July 15th (Mon, holiday) to July 21st (Sun), 2024, at Shinjuku Sumitomo Building Triangle Plaza. This year’s event is the largest ever, featuring over 180 types of ice cream from 30 brands. Aipaku is known as Japan’s largest ice cream event, attracting over 4 million visitors.

Local Ice Creams Gathered! Selected Ice Creams from 30 Brands

At “Aipaku Premium,” local ice creams from all over Japan will be gathered. The selection of products is done by ice cream expert ‘Iceman Fukudome’ and members of the Japan Ice Mania Association, ensuring a lineup of ice creams chosen from the perspective of ice cream lovers. There will also be event-exclusive menus not usually available in stores, making it a must-see event.

Fresh Brulee Soft (1,200 yen) / MYSTAR BASE

From the Baumkuchen & coffee specialty store ‘MYSTAR BASE’ in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, comes the ‘Fresh Brulee Soft,’ debuting at Aipaku. This milky and rich soft serve recreates the bitterness and texture of crème brûlée.

Strawberry Daifuku Soft (850 yen) / Ice Bistro Hirai

The ‘Strawberry Daifuku Soft’ from the ice cream specialty store ‘Ice Bistro Hirai’ in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, is also making its debut. This soft serve, with the deliciousness of strawberry daifuku, is a must-try in a crispy cone.

Baked Sweet Potato Mont Blanc (1,100 yen) / oimo & coco.

The ‘Baked Sweet Potato Mont Blanc’ offered by the baked sweet potato specialty store ‘oimo & coco.’ is another item you shouldn’t miss. The combination of chilled sweet potato and vanilla ice cream is exquisite.

Milk Soft Catalana (830 yen) / Country Home Fukei

‘Milk Soft Catalana,’ provided by ‘Country Home Fukei’ in Tokachi, Hokkaido, is a soft serve made using milk from their own ranch. You can enjoy the deep richness of raw milk and a refreshing aftertaste.

Tokyo Melba (1,200 yen) / Peach Senka Yamashita

From the peach farm ‘Peach Senka Yamashita’ in Yamanashi Prefecture, operated by ‘Peach Farmer Cafe La Pesca,’ comes ‘Tokyo Melba,’ where you can enjoy the luxurious taste of gelato and peach.

A Weatherproof Venue for Enjoyment Even on Rainy Days

This time, “Aipaku Premium” will be held at the Shinjuku Sumitomo Building Triangle Plaza, a weatherproof venue directly connected to the station. The spacious area, with a maximum ceiling height of 25 meters, is fully air-conditioned, allowing you to stay comfortable even in midsummer. It is conveniently accessible, being a 1-minute walk from Tochomae Station and within a 10-minute walk from Shinjuku Station.

Ice Cream Related Goods on Sale! “ICECREAM HOLIC” Simultaneously Held

This year, ‘ICECREAM HOLIC,’ themed around non-edible ice cream, will also be held simultaneously. Unique goods and items inspired by ice cream will be gathered, offering many items that capture the fun of ice cream.

Ice Cream Expo ‘Aipaku Premium TOKYO 2024’ Event Overview

“Ice Cream Expo ‘Aipaku® Premium TOKYO 2024′” will be held for seven days from July 15th (Mon, holiday) to July 21st (Sun), 2024, at the Shinjuku Sumitomo Building Triangle Plaza. Operating hours are from 11:00 to 19:30 (closing at 18:00 on the final day, the 21st). The entrance fee is 500 yen for adults (junior high school students and above) and free for children (elementary school students and below).
